Lincoln 1-3 Dag & Red

Ben Strevens
Strevens scored twice for the Daggers at Sincil Bank

Dagenham & Redbridge turned on the style after the break to record a superb win at Sincil Bank.

City went ahead through Lenny John-Lewis's fine first-time shot but they lost their way when Frank Sinclair limped off injured.

Dagenham dominated after the break and Ben Strevens hooked in the equaliser after a mistake by keeper Rob Burch.

A fine Strevens header made it 2-1 and Strevens then teed up Paul Benson to seal the win in the final minute.

Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire:

"In the first half we looked comfortable but sloppiness once again has cost us. We didn't get going in the second half, we were completely outplayed in midfield and at the back and we gave them all three goals.

"I've talked my players up but they didn't deliver today."
